Otherwise known as the Gweth. The Gweth are a bloodline of warriors, visionaries, soldiers and anarchists. They often refer to themselves as the line that stands between the conclave and the darkness. Other clans have a tendency to mock this however. Gweth come in many shapes and forms and are possibly the most diverse of all the bloodlines. A Gweth could be dressed as a street thug, covered in biker leathers with a knife as a favoured weapon, or they could be stood next to the Prince as a trusted advisor, dressed in a suit and carrying a gun. Room for both of these and everything in between.

Promotion is based on strength and competence. There are three methods of going up rank. The first and most common way is for a lower rank Gweth to challenge a superior rank in a fight to the death. The victor then decides whether or not to spare the loser. It is common for the challenged to spare the subordinate but if they lost then the higher rank is considered weak and it is almost a mercy to be put out of their misery if they have been beaten by a weaker man. In the more dangerous cities this is considered a waste and a clan head can field Promote any who he feels deserve it. He cannot promote himself however. The final method is the rarest. A vampire stands up in a public place and declares that he is now a higher rank. If he survives the month then it is assumed that the Gweth bless this new rank and that he is now a higher rank.

You can also use a burst of speed to move in a straight line. This costs 1 point of blood and you can move in your level in speed times five paces, during a time freeze. You may strike one person in arms reach, they may strike you back and use disciplines as normal. You cannot move less than your level in speed.
Toughness
1: Allows you to spend one point of blood and increase your head and chest hits by one
2: Allows you to spend one point of blood and increase your arm and leg hits by one. Stacks with level 1

Pendefig

The aristocratic rulers of the conclave. The Pendefig are made up of nobles, politicians and businessman. Moving in political and business circles, they trade in influence, if not in mortal society, then in vampire society. More Princedoms are held by the Pendefig than just about any other clan put together. Historically the Pendefig were one of the earliest proponents of the Conclave.

The Pendefig have a number of factions within the overall Bloodline.

Marianni
The Marianni are one of the two largest lines within the Pendefig bloodline. They primarily focus on organised crime but they have taken control of several large corporations.
Smithson
The other of the two major families in the Pendefig. The Smithson are traditionalists and believe in the Conclave wholeheartedly. They are more corporate minded than the Marianni but have fewer underworld contacts.
The Knights Errant
Tired of the modern politicking and corporate manoeuvres that the modern Pendefig seem entrenched in a small group took a step back. Seeing the Pendefig as the nobles of the vampire society. As such they have re-imagined the code of chivalry and work to uphold the conclave.

Promotion is achieved by impressing someone of a higher rank by either a spectacular business or political ploy that can be proved to be you. The bigger the gain then the more likely it will lead to a promotion. Some younger Pendefig however have a tendency to bite off more than they can chew.

Cerddor

Amongst the Cerddor live the conclaves artists, fops, romantics, spies and assassins. They exist behind a well maintained front of poseurs and artists. To their horror, many of the modern clan have become exactly that. However itís usual goal is to gather information and the behind the scenes manipulation of events. The Cerddor also have the most advanced computer and spy network that the world has ever known. They use a combination of vampires, cybernetics, advanced Information technologies and Various Disciplines. This network is known as Big Brother and each Cerrddor has access although they are expected to contribute entries as well as take information.

As an additional note. The Cerddor have, or used to have a group inside their ranks called the Daefectis. Little is known about this group, as recently the clan purged their ranks of this group. If you wish to play a member of this group, please see a ref. (We recommend this for experienced players only as your life will be an interesting one)

Promotion is done through artistic challenge of a higher rank to the art form of the superiors choice. The judge is the Local clan head or Lord Poet. Victory is ascertained by the person with the highest score, if itís a tie then the challenge must be role-played.

2: User enters a trance and may ask the universe a question. They will gain a cryptic response

Dewin

The Mages and mystics of the conclave. Dreamers, Shapers, Movers and Makers, the Dewin are the masters of everything that exists outside the normal sphere of human and vampire experience. They are very structured and organised, no breaking of the rules are permitted on punishment of death (or suicide mission). Use of underhanded tactics to progress is encouraged. Success is applauded and rewarded. Being caught is met with disdain and being ignored.

Promotion is based on competence. The first promotion occurs at 10 discipline ranks, second is received at 15 discipline ranks and the third at 20 ranks. Incompetant and stupid members of the bloodline may find that their clan head requires more ranks before they are allowed to progress.

Sorcery
1: Sleep. Spend one willpower and touched target either resists or falls asleep
1: Throw me that (item). Spend one willpower and target will either resist or "gently" throw you the specified item
2: Hold. Spend two Willpower and targets legs and feet are frozen for 10 seconds
2: Fear. Spend two willpower and target must flee from you for thirty seconds
In order to create these effect, syou must use the Vocals "By the power of Sorcery (effect name)". These Vocals are as audible as you make them, and are In-character heard as 'mystic mumblings'.
Mind Control
1: Spend one point of willpower and issue a 1 word, non harmful command to the target who must either obey or resist
2: Spend two points of willpower and issue a sentence, non harmful command to the target who must either obey or resist

Ynfydrwydd

The loose cannons and wild cards of the Conclave, a collection of the mad, psychotic, slightly wrong or just plain weird. There isnít really any structure to the bloodline to speak of, occasionally the odd single vampire may have enough of a grip to hold rank and be trusted by the conclave hierarchy. However only the Conclave tends to trust this position. The bloodline has a tendency to ignore it. The few times when the bloodline has been unified, the results have been terrifying and awesome to behold.

Promotion within the bloodline, doesnít really happen. Instead the character is given a title according to how many disciplines they have. This equates to rank.

It should be noted that many members of clan Ynfydrwydd find it amusing to choose specific names of their title, or get it wrong intentionally.

There is no real rank structure within clan Ynfyd. ĎPromotioní consists of naturally achieving a higher awareness of themselves and their powers, whereupon they manifest new powers. In practice, the first promotion occurs when you have gained 12 ranks in disciplines, the second in 16 ranks, and the third in 20 ranks.

Due to their unique way of thinking, Ynfydrwydd are unable to teach their disciplines to others. They do not need a teacher for any of the disciplines that they spontaneously manifest however they do still need a teacher for non-clan and unmanifested disciplines.
